Looking for an easy last-minute treat? It really doesn’t get easier than this one…
With just two ingredients and a few minutes of your time, you can make this delicious Oreo bark. It’s a great activity to do with the kids — one of my older girls stirred the melting chocolate while the other smashed Oreos — and it’s yummy too!
Supplies:
- 15 oz. bag of white chocolate chips
- 15 Oreos
Directions:
Cover a cookie sheet or bar pan with foil or plastic wrap.
Melt the chocolate chips on the stove or in the microwave.
Technically you’re supposed to use a double boiler, but I just melted mine on low in a saucepan. Shhh….
While it’s melting, mash/chop your Oreos into smaller pieces in a large bowl. Slowly add the melted chocolate to the bowl and stir well until all of the chocolate pieces are coated.
Pour mixture onto covered pan and spread into a 1/2″ layer.
Chill for an hour or two and then break into smaller pieces. Serve on a platter or add to a cookie tin or treat bag!
