I discovered these cute little ornaments on Pinterest, and we invited some friends over this week to make them. Although ours are a little different than the original version, I love how they turned out!

My daughter’s art teacher (Rita Hester of Tree House Studios for those of you that are local!) made ornaments similar to these with the girls, and I thought they turned out so cute! Simple, easy AND adorable makes them a winner whether you’re adding them to your own tree or giving them as gifts. Unfortunately, [...]

This is an easy, fun craft for all ages. Your end result will probably vary depending on the age of the crafter, but whether you’re looking to create beautiful additions to your decor like the ball above (which was actually made by a friend of mine a few years ago) or  do a fun craft [...]

One of my favorite Christmas activities is to make ornaments with my girls. My main goal when searching for ornament ideas is to find very easy projects that they will really enjoy making — rather than those projects where Mom does most of the work while the kids watch! — and these are definitely one [...]

Here is another fun handmade ornament idea for you! These simple ornaments are made from cookie cutters (we used tiny ones, but you could use any size) and scrapbook paper for a classic, vintage feel. You may even want to stock up on cookie cutters after Christmas this year, when they’re on clearance, to do [...]

I love the scent of cinnamon (and smelling it has been shown to increase your energy level too!), and these ornaments are not only cute but also smell wonderful. If you use an artificial tree, you could even hang these rather than purchasing a synthetic pine scent spray! This is another great craft to do [...]

101 Days of Christmas: Paper Ornaments

These paper ornaments are a classic craft that many of us probably made in school when we were kids. But they have a modern-vintage feel to them (I may have just made that up…) that I love, and you could use these as gifts or to decorate your home for an inexpensive and festive touch. [...]

101 Days of Christmas: Photo Block Ornaments

These photo block ornaments are really very simple, but the final result is an ornament that would make a special gift or keepsake. I love how these turned out and hope to make some more of them in the coming months! I used vintage-y scrapbook paper on my blocks, along with a picture of one [...]

Like our button cards, my mom and I found all of the buttons for these adorable ornaments in our family’s button box, and we had so much fun creating the various designs. I love the way they all turned out, but I think the Santa Claus may be my favorite! This would be a fun [...]
