I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful Christmas! Personally, I love everything Christmas and we had an amazing time this year — both because I was able to take some time off to really focus on my family and our celebrations and because our girls are getting older and Christmas means more to them now too!

For example, we found that our “12 Days of Christmas” was the perfect amount of activities for our family (I’m afraid all month would be too much!), so we’ll definitely do that again. I have a feeling I won’t remember any of that by next November, though, unless I put it in writing!

101 Days of Christmas: Dry Erase Christmas Countdown

November 30, 2011
Thumbnail image for 101 Days of Christmas: Dry Erase Christmas Countdown

We’ve recently discovered the beauty of dry erase markers for family activities! Before our trip to Disney, I traced a Mickey Mouse outline on the backdoor and wrote “Days Until” in one ear and “Disney” in the other. We then changed the number every day as we literally counted down the days until our trip. [...]
